I asked on r/askbaking about a glow in the dark cake. Here is the result.

I put as much tonic water as possible into the icing and used McCormick neon food colouring for the colours. It's not as vibrant as I hopped and stripes are incredibly hard but I happy enough and my friend and her birthday girl were very happy with it.
