Finally got my first vegetable of the year…artichokes!
Put a few hundred onions/garlic/shallots and about 30 tomato plants in the ground ~month ago. They seem to be doing well!
My three raised beds weren’t enough for me this year, so I extended my hillside with a 40×5 foot space for more tomatoes!
I talk and check on them about every hour.
Putting about 25 Dinnerplate Dahlias in the group this evening that have finally sprouted. I will know be in a daily war with the snails.

That’s awesome! I’ve actually never seen artichokes growing before. Just the harvested ones.
