    Kolache is what I know it as. My second favorite filling. I’m partial to walnuts with raisins.

    Dates? What a great idea! I love dates. I usually just make the poppy seed filling without added fruit, but mostly because I’m not fond of the usual ones sometimes added where I am, in the Czech Republic. Raisins or more often prune plum jam (povidla). I dislike povidla, though it’s extremely often used here, including alone.
