This weekend we’re doing a donut burger in a collaboration with a great doughnuteer here in Stockholm. I’m kinda surprised how well the maple glazed jalapeno donut works with the two smashed patties, topped with swiss cheese, pickled white onions and deep fried jalapeños. What are your take on donut burgers?

I can’t speak for we, but for me it’s a no. I don’t like overly sweet things and I don’t think I have had a doughnut in years.

I think once every couple of years it’s not so bad. Sounds like a dream in theory, I think the last one I had was 5-7 years ago. So good at the moment, but the aftertaste and thought of the combo did make me kind of sick to my stomach

I dont really like donuts, but i would be willing to take a few bites of one if someone i knew ordered it. I could see the sweetness maybe mixing well with a greasy smashburger. Not sure about the cheese + donut combo…

That doesn’t look anything like a donut. It just looks like a regular bun with some frosting on it.
