These super crispy roast potatoes come together in 3 simple steps, first blanch, shallow fry and finish in the oven.
I enjoy these potatoes occasionally and they are just so delicious.

INGREDIENTS
2 lb. Yukon gold potatoes, peeled , washed and cut in halves .

1 Lemon , cut in half
1 Tsp Mixed herbs ( Thyme, rosemary and oregano ) or Italian seasoning
1 Tsp Kosher salt
1 Tsp Ground black pepper
1/2 Tsp Chili powder
1/4 C Vegetable oil
Fresh Cilantro, chopped for garnishing

steps hey friends a chefa here I enjoy
making these potatoes occasionally and
they are
delicious for the roasted potatoes
recipe I’m using this Yukan gold
potatoes I have some mixed
abs some black
pepper
salt Cayenne or chili
powder and a

lemon first things first peel these
[Music]
potatoes on the stove I have started
some water to boil I added some salt
cut the bigger potatoes in
halves the rest it should be able to
cook
[Music]
through run this through cold
water drain this water and run it one
more
[Music]
time now these potatoes will go into a
pot with boiling salted water for our
first step which is
blanching into the water we going to add
one
lemon squeeze in half the
lemon and I can just dump the rest in
there add the potatoes
carefully
and all we want to do is just to cook
them until they are knife tender as the
potatoes continue to blanch preheat the
oven to 425 F or about
210

celius once the potatoes are knife
tender turn off the heat drain them into
a
corander
make sure they are all completely
dried return the potatoes into the bowl
squeeze in the rest of the lemon

juice season with some
[Music]
salt plenty of black
pepper mixed ABS rosemary thyme
[Music]
oregano chili
powder this will give it a slight kick
and some
[Music]
color toast this all
together
now carefully transfer the potatoes into
this pan with hot
oil at this point all you’re looking for
is some beautiful golden brown

color take a fck to see if they’re
Browning awesome give them some more
[Music]
time these potatoes are starting to form
a
crust at the bottom just give them a
[Music]
turn just give this pan a slight
tan and then base the potatoes with this
very fragrant
oil now once you’re satisfied with the
color here just move the whole pan into
the hot oven and finish cooking for
about 15
[Music]
minutes this very crispy potato Poes are
all done just listen to
that enjoy this idea or ex a side
[Music]
dish to finish this squeeze some more
lemon
juice just a drizzle olive oil this is
optional
and then just some
[Music]
cilantro all I need to do now is give a
taste to this

deliciousness
crispy that so hot

so so friends there you have it in three
simple steps blanch shallow fry and
finish in the oven you end up with this
delicious crispy roasted potatoes serve
these with a side of ketchup all by
themselves marinara sauce is perfect or
one of my Masala sources in the channel

  5. Biggest mistake English Queen Elizabeth 1 made was sending the English explorer Raliegh West as he came back with Horrible Potatoes and Tobacco, whereas if he had gone East we would be eating beautiful Sweet Potato.
