Spotted the 2020 vintage at Costco today for $115. I picked up a few 2019’s early last year for $80 each. I was shocked by the 43% increase I saw today.
Are you still buying Potent-Canet?

At $80 it’s a daily drinker. At $115 it’s still worth every penny.

It’s not just Pontet canet. Bordeaux prices are anchored to the vintage, and 2020 was priced higher across the board

I paid $119 for the 2019 at my Costco, so while the price may have increased you are still getting a good deal lol

No. Who would buy that when you can get 15 for 105 on wine searcher. It’s a pretty decent wine but imo not worth over 100 off the truck. Given similar for lesser priced prior vintages I’d probably pay 75.

completely jealous of your costco options compared to mine…

That’s why the Bordeaux market is called a whore’s market.

2019 Costco prices were kind of a special case. Though there’s some murmurs of price decreases for 2023 (which looks like a soso vintage)
Bugpowder
Wally’s Santa Monica has it for $110. If you can’t beat Wally’s prices…
