can you tell me what is in this meatloaf? It looks different than any meatloaf I have had. Also are the colors just different on the top there because there is no sauce on the top or why is it like that?

I have a cookbook from the 70s (I think) and they actually recommend to arrange the meatloaf in a circle like this.
I’ve never done it tho because I usually don’t have enough meat since meat loaf is something I make on skint weeks to make a small amount of food stretch.

Reminds me of something my mother would make.
My sister was picky and hated meatloaf bc it had veges in it, but if my mother baked it in a cupcake pan and put dyed mashed potatoes on top my sister loved the meat cupcakes.
