🥣 Ingredients:
120g | 4oz | 1/2 cup cooked chickpeas (half a can)
3-4 medium size potatoes

1 large onion
2tbsp chickpea flour
black pepper and salt to taste

🥣 filling ingredients:
200g | 3oz | 3 cups spinach
100g | 2oz | 1/2 cup dairy-free feta
1/2tbsp oil
black pepper and salt to taste

🧑‍🍳Cooking tips:
❗Feel free to add your favourite herbs and spices to the recipe to get your favourite flavour.
❗You can substitute chickpea flour with any flour of your choice and preference.

🥣 Method:
Partially mash 120g | 4oz | 1/2 cup cooked chickpeas (half a can)
Peel and grate 3-4 medium size potatoes
Remove the excess liquid of grated potatoes
Grate 1 large onion
Add 2tbsp chickpea flour
ℹ️ You can substitute chickpea flour with any flour of your choice.
ℹ️Please note: chickpea flour is naturally gluten free.
Add black pepper and salt to taste
Mix well
Place half a chickpea and potato mixture in a lightly oiled nonstick pan
Chop 200g | 3oz | 3 cups spinach
Add 1/2tbsp oil, 100g | 2oz | 1/2 cup dairy-free feta and black pepper to taste
Place spinach over chickpea and potato mix and add the other half of the mixture.
Cook over medium heat with the lid on for 10 minutes.
Flip to other side, add 2tbsp water and cook until golden brown.
Cut into wedges, serve with dairy-free yogurt, salsa or the dip sauce you enjoy the most!

Skil en rasper 3-4 mediumgrootte aartappels
Verwyder die oortollige vloeistof van gerasperde aartappels
Ek is baie lief vir kekerertjies! Hulle is so lekker, proteïenryk, glutenvry en baie voedsaam! 💖
Hierdie kekerertjieresep is goed vir middagete of aandete! Dis so maklik en lekker!
Rasper 1 groot ui
Hierdie is ‘n eenvoudige resep wat almal by die huis kan maak. Volg net my stap vir stap instruksies.
2 eetlepels kekerertjiemeel
ℹ️ Jy kan kekerertjiemeel vervang met enige meel van jou keuse.

Verdeel die mengsel in twee gelyke dele.
Plaas ‘n halwe kekerertjie-en-aartappelmengsel in ‘n liggies geoliede kleefvrye pan.

Voeg 1/2 eetlepel olie

100g | 2oz | 1/2 koppie suiwelvrye fetakaas
Meng goed
Voeg die oorblywende kekerertjies en aartappelmengsel by.
Kook oor matige hitte met die deksel op vir 10 minute.

  2. Ok….. I’m a professional chef…it’s a good dish, but it’s not just cooked after 20 minutes…..the potatoes are still slightly raw. Please tell people it needs at least 20 minutes more in the oven to cook out in the middle so it’s not “sloppy” with starch…… + it’s a Swiss Rosti with a twist which is nice!

  3. The shredded potatoes will not (do not) fully cook in 20 minutes! I had to continue cooking it in the oven for 30 minutes. 😔
