My pit boss turns off in the app at random times. Anyone else? Hoping it’s some setting I’m overlooking. It gives me the message in the ss. I turned it on to roll overnight and woke up middle of the night twice and the grill was down below temp and I just clicked no on the message and it started back up. Screen stayed on and all.

    First of all, is the smoker still powered when this happens. I get this message when the power goes out (popping a circuit breaker or inadvertently unplugging it).

    Secondly, is the control module communicating with your phone or going through your home WiFi? If you are linked directly to the smoker controller and you move out of range, you could lose the link. I have mine on my home network and can monitor/control anywhere including over cellular data.

    It is a bit inconsistent but I really don’t have super strong wifi out back at all. Eventually going to do mesh and we’ll see if that helps.

  5. Ever since the switch from the smoke it app I had issues with it. I eventually gave up on it and disconnected my smokers from the app and deleted it.
