Looks great! Is there a rub in the outside to get it that dark or how did you sear it. I’d like to replicate it.

Lol.

Please tell me how you got a crust that black. I dry my steak and reverse sear them on a scalding hot conduction stove and still I can’t get a crust that black. What are we doing different?
That’s outstanding!! Looks like the one I whipped up last week 😎✌🏼

Have you heard of the concept of letting a steak rest before cutting it?

Burnt outside undercooked inside.
Second picture looks like the mush-meat that happens when you undercook a premade frozen burger.
Nah

By the looks of it you are still cooking with too high if a temperature. I found the perfect temperature is just below the smoke point of butter and 3 minutes each side twice, so six minutes a side as a standard but go a bit longer if the steak is thick

Damn that must’ve been a well seasoned pan. Either way that’s amazing!! At first look you would think you cooked a brick, but the middle is perfect!!!
