Bought this when my son was born in 2006, with intention of drinking, but didn't get around to it that night. He's 18 next week and we're thinking about enjoying it together on his birthday. Ot was stored upright for most of it's life unfortunately.
Do you think it will be enjoyable at all?

It won’t kill you, but it might not taste good. You might as well open it up and try it.

It’s almost certainly past its best. But like most of these posts, it won’t kill you and is unlikely to be vinegar. Plus there’s a non zero chance that it’s quite good.

So just pop it, enjoy a sentimental glass with him, and have a few beers in reserve, because I know I had no palate or urge for wine when I turned 18, but generic euro lager was right up my street!
