Very strong malolactic nose and lots of oak too. Not too much fruit when straight out of the wine cooler. Pretty pricey (to me) at NZD 37 but it’s a sophisticated drop of wine. Nice touch of butteriness on the plate but nothing too strong. 14% which I think is pretty strong for a Chardonnay. Not too much fruit.
