I’m about to cook back ribs for 12 hours at 165. I was wondering if I should take them out if this packaging dry them and repackage? Or throw them in as is? I was planning on finishing them off on a smoker.

    From what I’ve read, I’m not sure the packaging is designed for heating like that. It may leech some chemicals, or the seals may fail. Heard stories about that. I always repackage ribs in new bags, but that’s just me.
