Those really do look like pequins to me. I’ve grown chiltepin and they turned out small and spherical. Those look longer and pointed to me. The tough thing is, chiltepins are sometimes called pequin and pequins are sometimes called chiltepin.

They are not ripe. No telling. They could be immature and would get bigger.
