Been scrubbing all day. Is some rust ok? Is scraping the enameling, or whatever the black paint is called, bad? Should I go buy a new grill?
Sorry for another post of an rusty old grill but I'm trying to figure out if I can get another season outta her.

the chamber looks to be solid and suspect you are scrapping just carbonized grease and should be able to get replacement propane parts from Amazon or Home Depot or local store.
