any flakes from the gaggia steamer? mines coming in tomorrow, i contacted WLL support and they’re claiming the boiler issues with the new gaggia’s have been resolved in their current inventory, hoping thats the case.

I’m not sure what the PID mod or Gaggiuinio mods are for the Gaggia Classic EVO Pro that other commenters have mentioned, but I’m almost certain they void your warranty for the machine. If you’re not looking to do that but still want to make better espresso than the machine can by default, look into learning how to temperature surf and pre-infuse on this machine. You can learn how to do it and it makes your espresso so much better! My shots were noticeably better when I started doing this. If you want a video reference, I used [Lance Hedrick’s](https://youtu.be/qz7PPnPSFd0?si=7GLL1qc0froRSdW1).
Also you should know if your machine was manufactured 2023 or later, the OPV setting is 9 by default.

Same set up. I put my Gaggia on a smart plug so it turns on before I wake up. And store my beans in an Airscape. I single dose
