It’s mother’s day soon here in our neck of the woods and I’d like to take my wife on her first mother’s day to one of our favorite wine bars. I have found some true gems on their list before (eg. 2021 PYCM Saint-Aubin 1er Cru “La Chatenière” for 100 USD).
My wifes favorite (besides white burg) is champagne and I’d like to pick something special off their list. All prices in Swedish Kronor (1 USD = ca. 10.80 SEK) Looking for a bottle under 2000 SEK (so about 180 USD). (Should also mention that in Sweden tax is included and tip completely optional)
She loves brioche-y, round and full champagne with some age and complexity, balanced with some acidity to give it some life and lift. Henriot Cuvée Hemera 2008 was a huge fav of hers (and me).
Anything stick out?

Charles Heidsieck 2006 possibly. Diebolt-Vallois Fleur de Passion is a favourite but I think Heidsieck is more brioche-y..

I haven’t had it but the 2010 Leclerc Briant is probably a good choice. I like the same flavors as your wife and I love their champagnes. Their blends tend to be more pinot heavy and complex.

Before I read this is Swedish Kroner, I thought you were getting bent over (American slang for cheated) but these prices are actually not bad at all with the exchange rate. My choices would be:
For lean and fresh (but maybe something different for your wife): 2015 Laherte Freres Les Grandes Crayeres
For more round and fruity: 2019 Bereche Rive Gauche
For very rich and toasty (personally not my style but I see the appeal): 2006 Charles Heidsieck

This has to be wolfgangs vincafé in Göteborg
Edit: a lot I haven’t tried but personally I would go for one with early degorgment date to get the most out of a vintage champagne.

Impressive list. I avoid brioche-y champagne like the plague tho so I won’t recommend anything.
