Easy, Simple Chicken and Mushroom Creamy Pasta! Cheap and Delicious dinner!

After all day in the kitchen yesterday, I wanted something quick and easy. This is a play off of a recipe by Pioneer Woman that I found years ago. I had some mushrooms and 10 oz of chicken from the Everyplate box and thought this would be a perfect recipe to make!

it’s Monday what was that sound Hama there was just a creepy sound right there oh no that’s okay oh no rats are okay the rats are okay what rats what the heck what rats what is she talking about she just came and told me the rats are okay after that sound oh I do not like this sorry I’ll be right back I need to go investigate she didn’t say ratch she said Plex oh look at my sh matches my glasses today just realized um Plex is a character on Yo Gaba Gabba that’s her favorite show also how I named Indie fun fact anyways I just got cold the sun is out is finally my gosh that snow yesterday no thank you ma’am I’m cold um I asked Josh what he wanted for dinner I said I have some chicken Tha one pack of chicken from every plate any basil not a basil um I thought there was some up at the top some small bottles where’s the oh he was Finding spices for me I need need to get that out I need to get an hour out forget close up of my face you’re welcome okay sorry so he said like an alfredo because we have this already took the chicken out but just the um 10 oz up oh my good it on my arm sorry that’s nasty um the 10 oz of ch and then I thought well I have these there was four mushrooms in here I already chopped them th aable from the everyplay box and when I first started making this my Alfredo which just the cream and the parm it was because of a Pioneer Woman recipe that I had made a long time ago I don’t remember even why I made it um probably because it was when I had all those mushrooms so it’s a mushroom peppered white sauce pasta I don’t remember the exact everything that she put cuz I’ve been making it for a minute now so I can I’ll try to remember to link it below but it’s the Pioneer Woman’s black peppered chicken parm or chicken alfredo or something I I need to find it so I thought well that’ll be perfect and then I can use the mushrooms it’s actually really good I made it at we went to Moab for a family thing when the middle one was like 4 months old and there are many people there who hate mushrooms and they all liked it too I don’t know what it is how it hides it so well but it does um so I’m going to use my chicken and my mushrooms from the box I have my babies coming with a boot my whipping cream my food pantry spaghetti cuz I don’t have any off and then I have some parm that I shredded my the reason why I was trying to get that parm off is cuz I can’t go sideways cuz the Rind is right there so I was trying to get the last bits and then I thought maybe I could Grill the paper stuck away some tomato and or at least Grill the zucchini maybe and put that on the top that sounded good I don’t know I I don’t know what I’m doing you know me just winging it oh I’m Lara I didn’t say my name because that’s cilantro and cuz Elsie there was a weird sound and Elsie ran in and told me that the rats were okay yeah that’s the face I made but she said Plex not rats that’s mint that’s mint yeah okay let me figure out my life oh um did I did I say my name I said I’m Laura did I you said you were Laura oh I did say you now you know my name welcome back you I mean you’ve been here for 4 minutes at this point so probably stuck around or you’re you’re not new I was like on a rool with new people for a minute and then now they’re not coming I don’t know what to do to get the peoples to come I was just talking to Amber and she told me that they used to buy liquidation pallets way back why did we also buy liquidation pets and resell them he’s still upset about one of them cuz it was this beautiful cabinet that I wanted personally on this one palette and then they sent me 10,000 K Cups no how many boxes of K Cups it was like the palette was like it was it’s taller than him the whole palette of just boxes of K Cups Dunkin Donuts K Cups Dunkin and not my beautiful thing and then it was out of stock everywhere and I couldn’t find it it was this gold wine cabinet it was so beautiful so then I sent it back and he’s like we should have kept it that was easy money but we did do palettes fun fact because seriously Amber and I are the same so I told her that she’s not that one of us has to get rich because in our twin Universe then the other one will get rich so cross your fingers that one of us finds a bag of money I’m not even above finding like a bag of weed at this point and reselling that just kidding just kidding just kidding government seriously anyone needs me to drive something somewhere I’m available this weekend Oh my water’s boiling okay let me let me start cooking I’m just going to throw my spaghetti in throw it and I’m literally throwing it everywhere we’re going to season this chicken it I need more salt out of all my seasonings GE whiz okay I cut the chicken in half so it’s the same size here’s my mushrooms I was telling you about let’s do some salt some white pepper you know my life isn’t an order when none of my seasonings are filled all right let pushing my noodles in garlic oh that’s a lot that was okay a mint some paprika and then poultry butter blood flip it lost a piece oh crap I touched it with both my hands I hate when I do that because then I have to wash my hands cuz then I can’t touch anything mint have that little thing I was going to put my garlic in and then I bound up going a different rout white pepper paprika Kinders salt my hands are wet I didn’t want to touch that they’re not wet but they’re a little damp okay I’m going to massage these spices into my chicken don’t know why I said it in that voice that was kind of strange I already took my ring off okay now we wash again I am going to cook the chicken and some butter I’m trying to scoot you over I apologize for my lack of space right here so I just turned that down I remember that now and in My Pan I think that was like 1 and 1/2 tablespoons I was telling the big one about my wardrobe malfunction at the birthday party and she was like yeah I noticed but I didn’t want to say anything cuz you were standing by a lady oh thanks so it’s better for me just to stand there by the lady with my boobs out thanks a lot kid I’m going to believe that put a little oil olive oil in here too I need to refill my avocado oil did you get the eggs yeah how many were there three hi Gracie what are you doing what you doing you coming to say hi hi hi I love you do you have a Campbell I’m making dinner [Music] I don’t want you to grab anything right here [Music] [Music] [Music] okay I threw the chicken in so I could wash my cutting board because I need to cut my zucchinis we’ll let that cook for a little bit debating on how I want to cut [Music] these I think strips are you in here to try and find food yeah I’m trying to cook dinner it’s really hard to cook while you’re standing under my feet this is that’s your house the house of SPS come here let’s go have some Teddy GRS she was pushing me out of the corner so strong she’s very she’s such a strong child for real for real for real oh no we’re going this way okay I have those cut let me grab my pen [Music] this is one of those other weird bbes where it was like $30 if you bought it but with a frying pan but if you bought it by itself it was 150 or something it I don’t understand how they do what they do okay going to let my chicken cook I’m going to cut this tomato I don’t have any fun stories today guys that I can think of at this very moment in my life nothing really exciting goes on here all my stories are of the past well I guess not all of them like there are some things that happened I’m just cutting up this tomato will you see what uh she wants for dinner I’m pretty sure that we have a ghost because we were outside a tree branch fell like a huge Branch fell off of our one of the trees in our front yard and was blocking the sidewalk so when Josh got home he had to take the um chainsaw to it that’s how big the branch was and um he planted my blueberries that I got for Mother’s Day my blueberry bush I just got one bush cuz they’re kind of expensive um but I’m excited about that and then the girls and I went on a walk and pizza I don’t know if we have bigles or there might be some in the fridge downstairs wait where was I going with this story I don’t know there was a point to my story no I don’t remember what it was well that’s what I did when he got home I guess that’s that’s a story in itself right there was something else in my story that I was going to share so weird I hate when my brain does this I really need to go buy some turkey tilt I don’t think I want to for grilling me yet I just change my mind cuz they’ll only take a minute oh my gosh I hate that so much like racking my brain now well we went on a walk down the hill with the with the wagon and I do not have pulling two children in a wagon up a steep hill lengths um when I lived in California there was always the joke in San Francisco that they always have the best butts because of all the hills and everything but I could have a real good butt I guess if I just got my my butt out there uhoh what’s up sh come here don’t eat the bears shman shman what the heck was I going to my story about that makes me so crazy [Music] sureid they have crackers and he’s trying to still them there we go flip that the sauce only takes minutes to make [Music] so I roasted the garlic I thought that would taste [Music] nice I was talking to my sister about the garden the garden drama from last year and I didn’t realize that they don’t even talk anymore and I guess they went over the night before it was supposed to snow the first snow and picked everything and left it there until they could figure out what to do with it and she never returned any Co so everything we grew hundreds of plants just she just we don’t know what she did with it not crazy this tastes so good I wish that you could smell and taste this it is so moist I’m going to save some Costa Water before I forget [Music] [Music] those little [Music] bits now we’ll fill these a SK or zuis on not a s [Music] this oh was I telling you about my that’s what it was see it comes back to me usually so we were outside doing the tree and then there was a ghost when we came back in because the water the kitchen sink water was like full blast on and I know it was off and Josh even confirmed that it was off because he had come in to the downstairs was off so he had to come in through the house to get his tools to do the tree and he even said that the water wasn’t on so I’m like to the big kid the only one in the house why did you leave the water on and she’s like I didn’t turn the water on I just came upstairs I’ve been downstairs and that was true she was down cuz I saw her the garage door was open why didn’t he come through the house that doesn’t make anything whatever that’s that’s his problem I can’t figure that out on my own but it was just full blast running [Music] crazy BR in my arms I’m cutting up my garlic in a very awkward way need to make some more garlic olive oil that stuff is so good use that all the time how’s this looking pretty good pretty good [Music] what was I [Music] do okay I’m going to take this chicken out and just put it in a [Music] bowl and I’m going to throw these in the onions [Music] and then I’m going to dump my pasta throw in my garlic and the mushrooms [Music] my awkward chopping of my garlic yielded some large garlic pieces oh my goodness I’m just flinging things everywhere [Music] okay in this I’m going to do parsley a generous amount white pepper black pepper that’s kind of a lot of pepper but that’s okay and then I normally would put red pepper flakes but since it’s peppered um I don’t want to make it too spicy e [Music] okay and then we need a whipping cream I cut it over my sink [Music] and I know that looks funky it looks like cream cheese or sour cream but it’s just cuz it’s in a [Music] box and I saved some pasta water in case we need to thin this out after we add the cheese just try not to spill okay now we add in the p to save just a little bit to sprinkle on the top [Music] [Music] and then we just mix it together I didn’t start her Bagel yet did that help your car let’s taste it the car yes let’s taste the car okay I’m going to [Music] do more garlic some more white pepper I’m going to turn it down some [Music] mint some of this pasta water [Music] [Music] did I th it too much I need salt I don’t know how I need salt [Music] when the is in it’s little container or there might be some [Music] shredded huh yeah [Music] I think I thinned it a little too much that salt is [Music] perfect I’m going to add hat touch the [Music] pan see what I mean like right there’s the right it’s so close I think it’ll be finding something like [Music] this she she run run run and it was fun fun fun did you [Music] [Music] [Music] get still fine taste RSE but still think it needs to be just a little bit thicker and then watch I’m going to make it too thick that’s better that’s better are also being cut up for them I’m sure she will like dinner because she informed me yesterday that she really likes noodles I love noodles was her exact words [Music] so she had leftover fuff for lunch because she likes noodles so much and I’m going to put her chicken on the side sometimes she’s started to become kind of a weirdo about how the order of how things are on her plate and then I’ll just cut this really small and put it in her I was attempting to do the twisty twist but clearly I don’t know what I’m doing need a that a glue but get her spoon for this it’s fine when you’re doing little plakes but okay that and then I’m just going to throw some of that on there and some tomato I forgot I was going to throw some sloppy M on there too and then some chicken is dinner almost done yes hungry hi hi we hi sprinkle some of that spook behind you huh behind you put my my thing away all right that’s dinner doesn’t it look tasty I didn’t bother to cut up the things very small but that’s dinner excuse me my nose is running and I will see you tomorrow look at that just did like a real word eye thing see you tomorrow good night woo my best friend
