@juliestout8564 suggested Turkey Tetrazzini as a way to use some of my turkey. I hadn’t had it before, or even know what it was. I did make some changes, tried a mushroom for the first time in 30 years, and had fun cooking!!

hello it is Monday night and it is 9 billion degrees in this house I it was 70° in the house by 10:00 a.m. so I said maybe if I turn the the AC on now it can like do its thing and it’ll be ready by 3:30 it was 80° in the house and it just smelled like dog breath and heat even the middle one I got her from nap the back of her neck was wet so now I have the windows open because I’m not gonna pay money to sweat if I wanted to do that I would get a gym membership and clearly I don’t so have my my little fan right here the T-Rex and my windows open hello excuse me didn’t mean to show you my personal items um hi I’m Laura mess I I don’t know a mom of three little girls a wife of one husband I like you got to say that these days you never know um and I have some leftover turkey I also have really dirty glasses um so I asked if anyone had any recipes and someone sorry I’ll have to tag you and say thank you I’ll have to go back and look said turkey I can’t even see the computer just say what it is oh there’s a hair in my eye turkey tetrazini I think so basically it’s turkey pasta like a creamy wine sauce with mushrooms and peas guess who doesn’t like peas or mushrooms also I don’t have any peas why would I have Peas I do have mushrooms though so and I also have a lot of Luna hairs left I can’t even wear my a friend there’s one right there and you got to like pick it and like slowly remove it there I asked her I said do you guys just eat Luna hairs I said how do you cook I don’t I was like she’s the sweetest girl my goodness how do you cook she was like yeah sometimes you just go onea hair nice and I I can kind of relate I can relate so um we’re going to make this I have everything prepared I’m using the Pioneer Woman’s best ever whatever it’s they’re always called the best like they’re all called the every recipe is like the best ever chicken the best ever pasta and they’re all I don’t know I don’t know which one is but this one had pretty good reviews and I feel like The Pioneer Woman generally has pretty good recipes I guess hers is just called turkey tetrazini Okay so we’ve cooked the pasta till it’s not quite done in a large pot we’re going to start cooking now we’re I’m looking at my computer see we’re doing a recipe together woo trying new things um and then we’re going to it didn’t have okay so we’re not following it because one oh changes I don’t have any Peas I have a lot of zucchinis why not right I have one and a half zucchinis I ate the other one while I was King the other half I can’t help it can’t help it um I have the rest of this pack of the mushrooms and I decided it’s been a really long time since I’ve just tried raw mushroom maybe I’ll like it also you guys like watching me try gross things so uhoh Luna hair gosh I washed these for 20 years Nyla what are we going to do Nyla goes home tonight but Pepper’s back she’s a cute little lab pup she’s so adorable but she’s black and so is Sherman and they both have red collors I’m stalling okay got the hair off that’s a little bit big piece let me let me find a small little one and I left them big so that that way I could pick it up oh there’s pepper Moon hey cute girl no jumping she’s only only 7 months she’s very cute okay that’s refreshing I’m not going to get have any water over here okay I did it that was so nasty I swallowed it look see Mom I swallowed it um oh gosh M delicious so we’re going to make those with zucchini um even my esophagus hates it it’s like what are you doing to me we’re going to use home canned chicken broth I had a little bit of that cream cheese left um I’m not making this full thing cuz I read in the comments that someone someone made it and it made a 9×13 plus an 8 by8 and I don’t know if I don’t need that much food so I have I halfed her recipe of cream cheese I have my fresh parm sorry this stuff is far away I’m adding onion because you have to I’m going to die no part of it’s mental I know part of it’s mental it’s just mental you’re fine you’re fine you’re fine um I have some onion because how can you you have to have onion in it and then it called for a cup but like I said I’m not putting as much so I have 3 oz of these random and then I just shredded some it was my teeth pull my teeth out oh gosh I have some random cheese I’d rather eat Luna hairs I some Bacons look it I didn’t burn it um and then a cup of wine maybe that’ll help take away the taste oh that’s so bad if I’m part of my zucchini so let’s cook I’m going turn you down and I’m not going to pause you because if I pause you sorry that was rude if I pause you then I always forget to press record so sorry sorry for my gross eating and my turning down Turn Down for What okay how zucchini help and the swash of wine in my teeth okay so first we’re going to melt some butter shoot my butter is just right here you know I always do that butter come on butter um we’re going to melt the butter and her recipe said four tablespoons and then um a thir of cup of butter or of flour but again I’m not making that much this has corn bits in it whatever so we’re going to let this melt I like some Parmesan oh my shirt’s very short it’s like one of those hip like belly shirts but then oh sorry man I’m just showing you all the things then my pants are like up to there so I got my teenage outfit on it look like my 11-year-old today it says we’re going to do the gar garlic first so I roasted the garlic that was not a Luna hair that was a garlic why why aren’t you squeezing out here buddy you’re supposed to squeeze out like a oh for heck’s sake I give up let me cut this real quick I usually squeezes out what am I doing wrong with my life having a hard time garlicky okay good enough let me chop it real quick maybe I should move the items off The Cutting Board while I’m trying to cut so Josh and the girls are currently the little girls I don’t know where the big one went um they are currently trying to see if it’s the blower on the air conditioner that’s maybe not working cuz last summer when we moved in and we died when we moved in from the heat we had like my niece came over and she was like we have to help you we have to fix this problem so they came over and we let he has one of those heat tools that you like shine or you like shoot it at and it tells you the Heat and we have a sunroof in our front room and that was reading at like 180 so we blocked that and then there was an old vent where the um swamp cooler used to be when they had one and we put some insulation board there still super super hot so then we had somebody come out and look at our AC was part of the warranty I think but it still was I had to pay for it and he said everything was working great so I don’t know we’ve gotten a new thermostat since then I I don’t know what else to do just die just live in a sauna so what the world wants me to do eat my zucchini oh I have to bake this huh 350 oh gosh I’m going to die okay and then we’re supposed to cook the mushrooms in there we’re supposed to let this cook for several minutes no the liquid oh I’m supposed to add the wine and some salt so supposed to put some salt and sauté for a couple of minutes okay we’re at that stage then the biggest one I gave her her three choices I said she could have Buttered Noodles she could have shrimp and rice or she could have chill she picked chill that is still going strong with giving her the three choices I always offer her what we’re having first some the last few nights though I’ve known she’ll like it so it’s not really that big of a like she doesn’t love like it’s not something she would pick maybe but she’ll eat it like when we made turkey but it’s been working and and I think it’s giving her more she’s not as sick of [Music] eating okay now we’re going to pour in it’s supposed to be a cup of wine I guess I should have reduced this too huh hey why are you barking okay we’re supposed to let this cook for several minutes until it reduces down to half so I’m going to let it do that while I pick up some of my garbage and maybe eat a piece of bacon and watch a little bit more of this documentary I’m watching on Prime about these twin brothers who like lived at home when they were out of college because their parents paid for everything and I’m assuming he kills his family I don’t know yet but he talks about his twin brother really creepy he says that he’s his significant other and that he always thought that they would always be together and he was in love with him and that’s real weird to me I ate all my zucchinis dang so I started watching while it was chopping so I can get like another 5 minutes in before I have to show you the next step I’ll be back okay we are at our next step we’re supposed to put the flower in and I apologize for the baby in the background she’s very sad right now she’s getting her bum changed and her bum’s a little red and she’s very sad CU it h whole thing I think it’s the that teething moms know or dads too parents know you know when they’re teething and they get that sorry guys I always talk about poop I’m not I’m not trying to but you but it’s my life that’s literally My Life um but you know how they get the um the Rob bad poops when they’re teething and I think that’s what’s doing it thing I feel so bad for her and of course for some reason she had 12 diapers today that hurt her butt okay sprinkle the FL all right poop flour pour in the broth and stir cooking for another few minutes until the r thickens so it said four cups but like I said I’m reducing it this is still three cups I don’t know whatever it’ll doce some I feel like um this will be better cuz it’s kind of C also that show I’m watching is called in case you’re curious and you like True Crime it’s called what is it called alt control delete or something like that I don’t know I can’t tell you all control design something like that it’s on praye okay now we let this cook down again is that flour no that’s onion okay we’re going to let this thicken and we’ll be back okay now we’re reducing the heat to medium low and we’re going to cut the cream cheese [Music] in where am my spoon go into pieces and then add them into our pot hello thank you thank you thank you so I guess part of mine is the new chees I don’t even I don’t even know what it’s called cuz I don’t have the package new FR shuttle I don’t know again I should never be a pharmacist and then the other is just cream cheese cuz that’s what I have I’m going to help it along a little bit she says don’t worry about the little bits they will melt it’s doing so good so we’ll trust her cuz she’s a bazillionaire so she knows what’s up good enough okay stir Tom out don’t be concerned if the cream CH remains a little bits for a while it will maybe I should stir it a little more that’s not little bits what are you doing N9 and I did have this sitting up they they’re barking I don’t know um okay so we did that I had to turn it because of the dogs now I’m thinking my pen is too small but we’re going to try so it says add in the bacon and that was four slices of bacon I did not half F then we’re supposed to add in the turkey the olives the peas oh it called for olives I thought that sounded weird and I didn’t like that idea so I omitted [Music] that so it calls for three cups of [Music] turkey but I don’t think I’m going to put three cups in I think tomato would be good in this too and the recipe says you can shred it Cube it whatever just okay we got the turkey in I still have a bit left so we’re going to be eating turkey sandwiches all week um the bacon the olives I did the cheese bul cheese and then my peas but since I’m not doing peas my zucchini I guess all the cheese a lot of cheese in this so in here is like some gouda and some white cheddar I don’t know whatever is in my little container hi Tina what are you doing you hoping I dropped some cheese there’s a fan between me in you so I don’t think that’s going to happen and I saw how my cheese is melting in the back gross okay heck of a lot of cheese I didn’t even do the two full cups look at this it’s like sweating just like me oh Luna hair gross nobody come to dinner for a couple of weeks I don’t think I’m going to put it all maybe I’ll put on the top B okay we’ll let this come together and then it says salt and pepper to taste I said I was going to cut it because this was going to make a ton and now look at how much I have okay let’s taste that it tastes like we um made our homemade CA mushroom that’s the vibe I’m getting also it needs garlic powder and onion powder that was garlic this is onion that’s better I need some time you usually she puts spices so I’m surprised and some parsley a couple of beads of sweat from my mustache instead of olives instead of olives we’ll just use the salt for my sweat some sage and you know when I some mint in it’s my signature hidden ingredient I moved the fan so it’s like blowing directly onto my body there we go that looks that look better okay okay okay so add the cooked pasta and stir and oh crap My Pan is too small look at my mess I made until you have a little bit of moisture well we’re going to make this work guys hey girl h why don’t you have your dad put it on on his phone she has her Ash glasses so I’m assuming sink okay I need a little bit more I have a feeling my pasta cooked too much hope it’s not soggy good flavor I just got a piece of the bacon okay we’re going to have have to do one more scoop and I don’t know how we’re going to make this work we’re getting close how am I not spilling now but I literally look at it and then it just boils over where am I oh the water wasn’t working can you go check it out thank you Elsie you’re not who I was asking though what the water or none of the little spouts were working earlier okay I think that’s why they’re mad okay honestly if I try to put any more it’s going to be like me trying to wear jeans and that’s never a good idea cuz we will busting out so me and my fan need to scoot over I think the size of a pan will be okay should I not even risk it yeah we’ll risk it want I cut it very close now I also um spilled oh on M we’re supposed to put Pinko on top where did I put it I’m going to have a fun mess to clean up over here in a minute okay I like to season my topping remember you kind to season every layer so I’m going to put some salt put some parm just a little my arm hurts just holding this pinkle and then we’ll put a little bit more definitely going to need to put this on a cookie sheet P it ever so lovingly asking it to please not bubble over too much a little salt I hit the wine there’s still all the wine in that cup um some [Music] pepper we’re going to do some garlic I’m just going to do it in my hand okay it says 20 minutes so I’m gonna throw it in and I’ll be back we’re about to pull it out but we have to wait a second cuz we don’t have hands huh who is is Gracie is that Gracie in the camera say I love you I love you I love you I love [Music] you I already plated it it’s a little soupy um I don’t think I added enough flour but this is the baby’s plate she has her tomatoes and her bell peppers some apple without the skin just so it’s easier for her to eat and pretty thin her pasta the middle one and then I threw the rest of that parmesan that was in the bowl into the little salad it’s a cabbage spinach salad with tomatoes and bell pepper there’s the big ones this is what ours looks like it looks good I haven’t tasted it yet but I’m sure that as it sets sorry I’m like wiggling you all over like some of this creamy will hopefully thicken okay we’re going to taste it I’m short this is called turkey pterodactyl turkey pterodactyl it smells delicious it’s a little soupy husta is hard to get like a small bite of so I apologize for my large bite that is so good it has like a very Grandma cooking bite like totally something like your grandma would make the day after Thanksgiving when she had to watch you when you’re my grandma would make KFC well I don’t even have a grandma but but you know what I mean yeah like it’s very like vintage I feel like the plates are appropriate but it’s good it’s very creamy M I added a little extra of the the goop but it it kind of feels like a homemade hamburger helper or like cream of chicken dinner it’s good I think it’d be really good with tomatoes in it mhm all right we’re going to go eat I have to find the other child and I think I’ve lost about 14 lbs sweating making this dinner by the stove oh you’re supposed to stand in front of Elsie oh sorry okay good night oh I can’t lift my arm good night hey L best friends

I’ve had lot of problems with my AC over the years and it seems like every time I do it is simply the filter. Check your filter if that’s dirty put a new one in and if it’s not a filter that you can change then hose it off and let it dry. See if that works for you, sweetie. Good luck nothing worse than a hot house and small children. I would call somebody to come back in and check it again.
There are lots of vegetables that I only like when they are cooked or raw, not both. I love cooked mushrooms but hate them raw. Same with onions, peppers, and tomatoes. But I hate cooked carrots. I only like raw carrots. So just because you hate raw mushrooms doesn’t mean you can’t love (or tolerate) them cooked! 😀

That’s a good dish there! It has been around for a bit but the sauce should be thick on it, we love turkey sandwiches with the left over turkey just use cold turkey and salt and pepper it then add Dukes mayo to your bread and that’s it so good! I am eating a bowl of potato soup I just made it’s rainy here and I am not feeling well, so I figured it fit! Lol ❤ great video! 🎉
We live where it gets over 110 degrees. We have 2 window air conditioners. They are Frigidaire brand. They were a little over $200. Each.

I like Turkey tetrazzini. I was introduced to it in high school lunch off all places. She, pioneer woman, also makes a dish called chicken spaghetti that we love. To me mushrooms take on the flavor of whatever you season them with. Plus they have so many health benefits. They’re one of my personal favorites
I also eat tuna tetrazzini, don't use mushrooms my daughter would really gag.
I live in Central Illinois I haven't turned the air conditioning on yet we've only had a couple days of high 80s
