Ingredients
2 overripe plantain
2 tablespoons yeast
1/2 cup of water
1 teaspoon chili pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon milk
1 cup of flour
Vegetable oil to fry

How to;
1. Add yeast to warm water to proof
2. Mash overripe plantain
3. Add Chilli pepper, salt , onions powder, and milk
4. Mix together
5. Add proofed yeast
6. Add flour and fold in mixture
7. Cover and allow to proof for 20 minutes
8. Fry and transfer to a paper towel
9. Enjoy!

hey foodie welcome back to my youtube channel and in this video i’m going to be showing you how to make plantain puff puff also known as mossa let’s make this together we’re going to be proofing our yeast first so i’m going to add some warm water to my yeast and i’m going to mix it together cover and allow it to poo for a while i’m going to be using two overwrapped plantain for this recipe and i’m going to be mashing them i’ll mash them until they are really blended or mashed rather so after mashing them i’m just going to be adding some chili pepper i’ll be adding some salt to this and some onion powder after which i will give this a quick mix together if you’re new to this channel please subscribe to my youtube channel for more amazing content like this i promise you would love it here i’m going to be adding one tablespoon of milk to this because you know i’m just extra like that okay so i’ll be adding my proof teeth now and i’ll just mix it gently into my mashed pot plantain rather no banana and i’ll be adding my flour i’ll be folding it in gently you know i’m mixing it gradually and that’s about it okay so i’ll be adding the second floor now and that’s all and i’m just going to fold this in gently until it’s is this consistency okay so after folding it gently i’m going to cover this and allow it to proof for about 20 minutes after 20 minutes this is what we have once it is looking like this you know it is ready to be fried and i’m just going to be finding this i’m going to be using my ice cream scoop because i don’t want to get my hands dirty and you know after it is fried it looks like this this is so yum guys this is an african staple and it is so so nice you really need to try this look at how beautiful they look like this are so gorgeous like they are so so gorgeous and they taste really amazing will you be trying this recipe let me know in the comment section bye guys i’ll see you in my next one bye

  1. Must I add yeast?… Can I use baking powder instead since I don't have yeast readily available?
