I’ve been debating on which smoker to buy. I want the WiFi one to show where the temperature is at and the grill temp and everything but I plan on getting the individual meat probes anyway because they’re more accurate.
Now into WHiCH to get?! I seen the Pit Boss 600 pro series for $300 at Lowe’s which looked good in the HOOD!
Also in marketplace a used pit boss 1150 V2 pro series for $200.
Then a traeger pro 575 online used for $400.
Overall I’m thinking the 600 pit boss pro series for only…..$300?! Also free delivery. It’s just me cooking that’s all so don’t need anything big. But I have seen Traeger is the best brand.

The traeger is the right move, especially if you don’t need a large smoker. It’s significantly higher quality than the Pit Boss.
I would consider a kettle grill with a wifi controller. Would be able to get the taste of charcoal and wood chunks while also having the option to use without electronics also

Using pellets is cheating
Get the older Traeger of that same size new for less than that.
I have a traeger and a pit boss and without a doubt I’d get the pit boss, they have a great warranty, more features, less expensive accessories and the unit itself is less expensive

That same traeger without wifi is on sale brand new at home depot for under $400. Then just get a separate wireless thermometer from thermopro or something.
I have a pro series, the finish is not heat resistant at all, huge patches burned off and I had to scrub it down and apply some high heat Rustoleum.
