let’s make a white bean and tuna salad with green beans avocado and basil vinegrette using canned fish is a great way to always have protein on hand that can be easily thrown together for dinner the hardest part of a good salad is the prep so let’s get that out of the way so let’s first make some dressing by blending together basil apple cider vinegar garlic shallot a little honey salt and olive oil set that aside let’s also pickle some shallots for a little zing and blanch some green beans the most important thing to remember when blanching anything is to plunge it into an ice bath to stop the cooking and then lastly we’re going to thinly slice some snappies let’s put this all together by placing the green beans in a serving Bowl topped with white beans the can tuna snap peas avocado and pickled shallot serve with some of that basil vinegar and you are ready to [Music] eat make sure you give a big drizzle of the dressing and dig in [Music]
