[Applause] the water [Applause] whisper hi sweeties so today we are going to have a look at this Dutch grocery magazine that I brought with me from the Netherlands but before we do that we are going to have a look at these recipe cards first so let’s have a look the first one is Rich filled Nacho the grocery store is called fomar and I got these recipes from the fomer that my dad and I used to go for groceries so this basically promotes their products on what you need to get and then the ingredients and how to prepare it looks very yummy this is of pelia from Valencia with jizo I have not had Pia in like forever can’t remember last time I have p roli ravioli from the oven with boli garlic pasta sauce I really really love ravioli myself we have pizza Quadro fori with unas which is a certain brand in the Netherlands now we have pasta P I used to make this this type a lot when I used to live in the nutland very few ingredients it says 150 gram of capani mozzarella cheese one tablespoon of extra pan olive oil four sticks of Basil 300 G of tomatoes cut half and two uh Peppers then we have a fresh grapefruit MC with lime panot with summer fruit for four people now we have Mexican tortilla wraps with her chicken and fresh corn salad also yummy Roy Masala with Irish doove meat of course all of this is in touch I would like to try and keep this in one video so I’m not going to read all of it too much Spanish treay bake and then we got a a breakfast cutting board it say with granola and fresh fruit and then we got a summer Bata salad which is a type of cheese with homemade herb oil it says looks like it has quite a bit of uh ingredients so those are the recipe cards now let me show you the breakfast or the the grocery magazine that has some hot dogs on the front so this is how they sell meat at the supermarket in the Netherlands it’s very different um it says choose and mix with with 25 types of meats so here we got a barbecue lus which basically means pieces of meat barbecue wings barbecue sticks why is it not focusing bar cute burgers this is how they sell them they don’t sell them in packs of like 15 20 burgers and these are different types of um sausages different types of fruit bread uh olives tputs type stuff these are um salads for unbread like tuna salad egg salad Curry salad vegetables salads and some ice cream so this is little agenda and this is where they tell you what you can find in this magazine it’s kind of interesting to see how they how the advertisement is different here compared to uh the LCBO magazine that I show you guys once in a while your character your breakfast it says news and Trends on this page top three vegan barbecue dishes this is just a um commercial for cream cheese which is aong gas in Dutch drink syrup chewing gum but then in mint form fasia bread and they love their Dows coffee in the Netherlands it’s a commercial for mozzarella or an ad rather so here we have some recipes vegetable saut with peanut sauce and lemon rice lime rice lemon rice and then here we have uh lettuce wraps with parsley chickpea cush cush I might actually end up making some stuff from this magazine and then here we got a fritata with green asparagus looks very yummy and on the other side we have um fluman with tomatoes and basil cream creem fresh fluman is a type of dough over here we got a pearl cous cush Nisa salad oh that looks so good look at that super yummmy and then over here we have something called spaghetti avocar avocar it’s probably a type of cheese or something no it’s not it’s just the name of the dish Muller milk we got like milk fli different types of flavored milk suana I used to eat this a lot when I was younger they’re basically musly bars with a lot of fibers but these musly bars taste very different than they do in Canada they taste much more clean and healthy food mix applea which is another brand um that sells different types of juice fruit drink this is one of the best peanut sauces you can get in the Netherlands and we usually eat this with um chicken uh chicken skewers buas burger bar now we go to the burgers uh vegan chicken burger with farmer salad and and fennel on the left side and on the right side we have a cheeseburger with grilled zucchini and spicy tomato sauce oh that sounds really good I would actually love that Bello burger with grilled paprika and hummus I would love that too I I actually really like vegetarian and vegan stuff uh vegan burger with grilled onion tomato chutney and blue cheese and then on the right we got a vegetable burger with um carrot strings and spicy mayonnaise and a fried egg God all of this stuff is so good these are bitter Bala which are basically they call them gravy balls here but they’re about this size and they have Ragu inside and they’re like breaded on the outside and then deep fried and we usually eat that with like mustard that has the seeds in it and then this is an advertisement for mayonnaise and garlic sauce this is my favorite garlic sauce ever sometimes when I go to the Dutch store I buy this I am also I also love cherries a lot some recipes with cherries cherry vanilla crumble cake and then here we got brisca with ricotta cherries and time oh that’s an interesting combo then we got grilled cheese with G bear and cherries come bear is a type of cheese for you guys for you those of you who don’t know salad with fennel and roasted cherries of course more cherry cherry yogurt ice cream oh that’s good it’s made with Greek yogurt and Cherry Jam Carson bar barbecue SAU so cherries are Kon in Dutch car k e r s n Cherry barbecue sauce oh man just looking at this I already missed the Dutch food so this is a ad for spreadable cheese this is a spreadable cheese with Pudo figs and a sice of corette or zucchini optimel is a type of yogurt brand that sells drinkable yogurt and regular yogurt I used to eat that a lot when I was younger well of course you guys know this this is a commercial for ice cream Twix Mars Bounty and Snickers this is in my opinion the best apple juice that you can buy in the Netherlands it’s called flavo sa and it comes from flavorant which is a province in the Netherlands that’s what the bottle looks like if you ever gra crave apple juice when you’re in the Netherlands and you happen to be by a supermarket get this stuff it’s amazing what do we have here here freshh sausage with rosemary and sundried tomatoes on the left side and then on the right side we have forced spon metpy bonus Salada which means sausage uh what do you call it sausage barbecue sticks with um green bean salad garon sa iton strawberry syrup to make lemonade with Caron saiton is my favorite brand of syrup for lemonade I used to get the raspberry one all the time when I lived in the Netherlands and when I grew up this is just an ad for everything just like a an example of all the stuff that they sell that is organic they have more but yeah and then this is all about the or organic market and what you can do with some of the organic products like for example make this which is Shak Shuka Shak shuga with feta no idea what that is but it looks like some sort of tip dip Coca-Cola and then here it says it ramms in in Dutch but it doesn’t ramme in English in English it says marinade you can learn so I guess this chapter is about how to learn how to marinate things oh yeah it is oh cool so here it shows you how to make these different types of marinade so this is soya Ginger marinade paprika cumin rub chili garlic marinade and then fan pasta I don’t know what that is but it’s so cool how they show you all the ingredients we have a citr fendon going Olive o paper Olive corander time chili paprika son o Lon soy sauuce ver L RP syrup and here we got some chili garlic marinated shrimp with coriander and here we got some cauliflower with mango chutney and that Fatu fan Fatu vanon spice which I have never heard of then we got some steak with soy Ginger marinade and green onion spiced sweet potatoes with ioli yummy taquitos yeah they’re promoting their app their grocery app wow they have an advertisement or an ad here for spa drinking water which is mineral water but like the water in the Netherlands is so good I would never even want to try that unless I would go to a really fancy restaurant that does not serve tap water and then here you have a little V which means wine guide summer 2024 I’ll just scroll quickly through it just for the heck of it but not really interested in this to be honest and add for some chips G lion low and sugar strawberry now we’re going into now we’re going to have a look at some recipes which means grilling with ease marinated chicken drumsticks with curry cheese dip cauliflower with steak and Bagan babaan is so good it’s um an eggplant dip a COA with celery and apple that’s how we eat COA in the Netherlands Turkish Bread potato Trilla from the barbecue made in a cast iron grill over here we got cauliflower steak with babaan and then yeah here we have the recipes of the pictures that we saw earlier so the Turkish bread the klow celery and apple um some Petes from the barbecue which are salmon packets from the barbecue meaning pack it like you pack it up in aluminum foil triple chocolate barbecue s’mores with raspberries I’ve had s’mores it’s too much for me it’s too sweet ananas Dart ananas Daren from the barbecue ananas is pineapple make your salads and veg make your salads and vegetables irresistible with atina atina is a atina is a nice H nice brand for for Coes and stuff I melt for you now we’re going to go into uh desserts it looks like and ice creams and stuff poptail watermelon margarita strawberry float summer coup look at that that looks like a huge sugar balm croissant Ice Cream Sandwich interesting hien dust Coffee commercial at fajita with vegan chicken Gip is is chicken so these are all different types of spreads that you can put on your bread so the first one is chicken mango chicken mango uh twin K Twi is um a region in the Netherlands Tent City so it basically has that Regional herb garden old cheese spread ripened for 14 months chicken SBA SBA sauce is like the spicy red sauce and then filled eggs spread tartar of grilled green asparagus and S L spaghetti with spagetti metot spaghetti M spaghetti with eggplant Ragu and creamy rotta yummy dessert with r made with Rosé can yogurt and garlic yogurt with roasted vegetables and garlic oil not garlic herb oil and then here we have some recipes again from the pictures that we just saw cranberry juice Italia we have this here in Canada as well that top which is a Belgium beer if I’m not mistaken the perfect fries to dip AO grip and dip grip and you doing grip and dipster dammer tonight we are eating old amsterdammer which is like a type of cheese so the Dutch cup is going on currently Dutch soccer and I’m I’m not a soccer fan at all but it makes sense that in this Edition we’re going to find things to cook for when you’re watching the soccer cup so it says barbecue orange barbecue a uh food stations let’s have a look what it says of course H Dutch beer orange is one strip head so what is this is this this looks like sweet potato and uh sweet peppers sweet orange Peppers yep grilled mini paprikas with um pumpkin hamus and feta interesting gred melon with lime dip grilled nectar salad with mozzarella and Sano ham and then here we got the sweet potato with the Bon faton Mayo that same herb that I didn’t know what it was earlier of course the carrots grilled carrots with some bread oh no with some bacon like not bacon like spec pinza but Bic mozzarella and Rula pinza with grilled Peach mozzarella and Rula and then here you got all the delicious different types of um snack bar food things that you can buy that you can throw in a grill at home so these are chili cheese bites um these are the bitter bin but it’s like the like what I told you about the the ball with Ru in it this one is beef flavored chicken nuggets then this is a mixture then we got nacho cheese bites and mini frondell which is basically a sausage I love that stuff so much these are the products I used to use when I lived in the Netherlands and follow which basically mean attack attack all the food nacho station yummy these are some frondell different types of bites the little sausages Orange sanria Station popcorn station it’s funny with these toppings you score points I really like the wording that they used for the to make it sound like soccer Christini station and then we got a commercial for dishwash tablets and some other stuff and add for a leaf and we got a cross word here and you can win a three-day trip toona which is a um province in nor the north of the Netherlands hygiene pads more dishwasher stuff dog food and then this is where it shows you what to find which recipe to find where in this magazine and then a recipe index another ad and then they’re promoting their wine at the end and some meat groceries visit visit or look at our online barbecue brochure so yeah guys those were the recipes in the Dutch magazine I hope that you enjoyed this video and I will be back again next week in which I
