offering reimagined Italian dining hide Park Villages tempano continues to be a Tampa hot spot and we are so glad they are visiting us once again in fact Chef Michael Ferrero and Chef Carlos Bor is with us today look at the spread I’m so glad we’re talking to Pon again how are the both of you fantastic thank you so before we dive over here with some uh summer drink I want to see you’re already cooking you’re going to town what are you making for us today so today we have have a beautiful summer dish it’s our spinach ricot ravioli it’s on our new summer menu it has uh beautiful summer corn some charred Tomatoes uh peino broth so the peino we sell so much of our parmesan tables and we actually use the Rind so we cross utilize all our dishes in Tano High Park uh by the way this is I think what I get every time I visit you because I cannot get enough of this and in fact I think is it’s kind of even really on the lunch menu but you still willing to take care of people with it so from now on for the new summer we’re only going to sell it for dinner but if you want to come for lunch and brunch we do a separate bucatini plate just for you H and that’s what they did last time I was there you did it just for me because this this is such a good dish but I’m I’m expanding I’m expanding here okay so what are the next steps so I have ravioli cooking over here so we make uh tempano High Park we make our pastas fresh every day I figured you were going some over here for display so I got my palm broth here my corn my charred Tomatoes I’m going to throw in a little bit of pasta water with a ravioli and we’re going to let that emulsify get nice and beautiful and while you’re doing that I’m going to have to go over and check in with my friend Michael here cuz I I Don’t Want You to Want Be Lonely but I don’t want these lemons to be lonely either and this just says summer I got to be honest with you absolutely I’m going to make you what’s off of our Social Hour which is our happy hour 4 to 7 every day starting this month I’m going to make you our lemon cello Spritz you’re going to have this you’re going to think you’re in siisy all right we got 2 oz of lemon cello here I have this beautiful Tavistock PCO resera that we serve uh we’re going to do 3 oz of PCO okay top that off with a little bit of soda water some fresh mint oh and a lemon wedge and like I said oh that looks that’s somewhere in a glass is it not what else is going to be offered during your Social Hour uh so Chef Carlos developed a whole bunch of fantastic dishes I mean we got oysters by the piece that you’re going to be able to come in and he has plenty of them a lobster eronini uh Chef Carlos is also now making fresh fota in in house and if you’re really going in look at that beautiful Tomahawk I mean at uh tempano hide Park we got you covered that is kind of what you’re known for I remember you know that was one of the the dishes like years ago when we first moved to the Bay Area was the tomahawk there I got to tell you this all looks fabulous you went ahead and plated this up for me everything’s ready for you I just finished with some fresh basil some fresh parmesan cheese on top and that’s our new summer dish do me a favor you know talking about the summer dishes how much fun is it to kind of play around with the whole like you know Farm to Table concept that you have utilizing everything as you put it but then being able to reinvent and have a fun menu when Summer’s fun right so as a chef we always look to be creative um we love to play with the the summer the seasons so our main menu is based on the summer something fresh something light to attract more people who want to come in and have some good food good one very very good dish and you know what that means too I’m going to have to uh sitp that down but we have a commercial break for that in the meantime we’re going to remind everybody where they can go and have fun with tempano at Hyde Park again you can get reservations or just walk in enjoy that Social Hour as you said so glad to see you guys thanks for this fabulous setup great to see you okay having us
