Alright this is gonna be super rude but…
Your zuchini look like some sort of sea creatures. This is amplified by your tomatoes.
Sauce straight up looks like split barf after a corn eating marathon.
And the two elements deem very disjointed.

Beautiful. Do you have a horizontal angle?

Oof OP, I’m real sorry, but this just doesn’t look appetizing…at all. The fermented pepino chimichurri looks like vomit. I’m not trying to be insulting and I know that sounds harsh; I tried to phrase it a nicer way and just couldn’t find a delicate way to put it. Plating the sauce underneath the mahi mahi in a classic swipe might solve the immediate, off-putting visual problem.
But unfortunately, neither the zucchini nor the cherry tomatoes look appetizing, either. They’re just sort of…there, haphazardly, in a pile (and the dollops of olive jam on the zucchini have the unfortunate side-effect of making the vegetables look like pus boils. I did a double-take when I saw them).
I feel like I’m coming off harsh so I’m going to stop now. The elements of the dish sound appealing, but I think you have a lot of room for improvement when it comes to the look and balance of this one.

This is a real miss for me. Incredibly unappealing and unappetizing. The sauce looks split and like throw up. I don’t want to be mean and even get into the zucchini and tomatoes.

im sorry man…. This looks like it sat out for a week.
Im sure these taste fine and would look fine seperate. However together it creates this really rancid visual profile.
Wrinkled tomatos, concerning looking zuccini that looks like something is growing on them with the olive jam, and a chimmichuri that looks legitimately vomitted up onto the fish.
Again on their own it would be better, but all together it just does not look appetizing at all.

Is fermented pepino chimichurri long for pickle relish?

When they say bring to a boil, I don’t think it was a medical term

I think your mahi mahi looks really tasty. 😋

This could be fine but your plating is awful and needs more green or something.

I agree with the top comments. Rough presentation. But black olives jam with roasted zucchini sounds fire and I shall be making that soon.

The description sounds interesting and I would probably order it off a menu……as long as I didn’t see the picture. I know this probably sounds harsh, but the sauce looks a little like vomit. The zucchini things weird me out a bit as well – they look a bit like eyes. But I’m sure it tastes great.

Tip for a black plate like that wipe it with oil before plating so you can’t see the smudges. Or be really careful with your placement.

Sorry OP, I looked your other posts history and you seem to have good food previously, but this plate looks kind of Alien to me, and I do mean literally like from the Alien film franchise, it looks like it could attack a human and use him for a host body in some sort of parasitic arrangement, thusly producing more foul looking offspring slightly resembling the original plate of food. Sorry though
