the think pieces in this comment section are insane and lends to ariana's whole "schtick" that people keep commenting on…she switches up everything every single era, from her looks to the way she behaves—she's been in 'glinda' mode for so long now and this is a part of that–and if you've heard her name from when she started you know that she's been embroiled in scandal since the beginning and every single time she does something she's criticized for it so i wouldn't blame her for putting her walls up during interviews. sure you can say she seems inauthentic here but had she been more "authentic" she still would've been criticized. people demand insight to a celebrity's every thought when you are not entitled to that.
