Lovely set of flavours together, but you are undone by technical issues before even getting to the plate. Doing potato scale fish is finicky and annoying, yes, but if you’re going to do it you need to do it more than partway–you need even colour, and probably a much thinner slice on the potatoes.
I do not like the sauce held in by the carrot dam. It feels extraordinarily dated to me.
The leaking ?oil? from the fish isn’t helping either.
