I recently made a Carlota de Durazno, and so many of you asked for a coffee version—so here it is: Carlota de Café! 😋 If you love light, no-bake desserts that come together quickly, this treat is for you. 🥰

CARLOTA DE CAFE INGREDIENTS:
► 8 oz room temperature cream cheese
► 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
► 2 tsp vanilla extract
► 1/2 tsp cinnamon
► 12 oz your favorite strong coffee
► 3 1/2 cups of heavy whipping cream
► Galletas Marias (used about 2 packages)
► 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
► 1 tsp instant coffee

  1. We have a similar thing. Peppermint crisp tart. Tennis biscuits (square, sweet biscuits with coconut), each covered with tinned caramel (the tinned caramel you get when they cook condensed milk until its caramelized). Spread onto each tennis biscuit. (In my country cookies are called biscuits) layer tennis biscuits with caramel, cover in whipped cream, grate some peppermint crisp chocolate bar. Repeat as many layers as you like. Leave to soak and set.

  2. Take the coffee out of the cream mixture, add some kahlua and dunk the biscuits in it…..and you have my tiramisu, pretty much.

(to be clear, I'm not telling you to do those things, just saying that's how I make my tiramisu!)

  3. Thank you for sharing! I’d love to make this for my sister. She doesn’t like coffee so instead I think I want to make the liquid rose tea 🫖 and layer it with edible rose petals and pistachios. She lives far from me so I’ll have to wait to make it. I pray it comes out good. Thank you. ♥️

  4. 😢 i have tried tiramisu only once and i wanna try making it at home but can't make ladyfingers, so i'm gonna freaking try this ❤ its kinda like tiramisu
