Buddies and I started a journey in the loire. We've rented scooters and motorcycles as our transportation and…as dumb Americans we love the word "beouf" and decided to ask AI to create a hip hop song to commemorate our ongoing trip. Please enjoy!
**Title: "Beouf de Beouf in the Valley"
(Chorus)
Beouf de beouf, ridin’ through the vines,
Three Texas boys, sippin’ on the finest wines,
Motorcycles roarin’, castles in the view,
Loire Valley chillin’, doin' what we do!
Beouf de beouf, toast it real high,
From Texas to France, we ridin’ so fly!
(Verse 1)
Yo, I’m ridin' through the Loire like I’m chillin' at home,
Texas to France, now we straight in the zone.
I got my boys, and we all sippin' good,
Chenin Blanc in my glass, yeah, you know it’s understood!
We pullin' up to a château real smooth,
The Frenchies lookin' at us like, “What’s your move?”
I said, “Relax, man, we just here to sip,”
Grabbed a glass of Vouvray, took a lil’ sip.
Yo, I’m laughin’, my boys ridin’ beside,
On these motorcycles, yeah, we catchin' a vibe.
Loire Valley views, man, it’s feelin' so fine,
Ain’t no Merlot—nah, we on that Loire Valley wine!
(Chorus)
Beouf de beouf, ridin’ through the vines,
Three Texas boys, sippin’ on the finest wines,
Motorcycles roarin’, castles in the view,
Loire Valley chillin’, doin' what we do!
Beouf de beouf, toast it real high,
From Texas to France, we ridin’ so fly!
(Verse 2)
We stopped by the château, it’s called Chambord,
I said, “Yo, pour that Pouilly-Fumé, encore!”
We got that cheese plate, baguettes on deck,
Venison pasta, man, what’d you expect?
Now we cruisin’ through the valley, sun goin’ down,
Texas boys, but tonight we own this town.
Kickstand down, bottles up to the sky,
We ridin' this tour like it's Fourth of July!
Vines all around, got me feelin’ so right,
And that Vouvray, yeah, it hit just right.
You know how we do, from Houston to here,
Loire Valley livin’, got no fear!
(Bridge)
Hey yo, hey yo, we cruisin’ so slow,
On that French wine tip, just watch us go.
We ridin’ this dream, no need to scheme,
From château to château, we livin' supreme.
(Chorus)
Beouf de beouf, ridin’ through the vines,
Three Texas boys, sippin’ on the finest wines,
Motorcycles roarin’, castles in the view,
Loire Valley chillin’, doin' what we do!
Beouf de beouf, toast it real high,
From Texas to France, we ridin’ so fly!
(Outro)
And that’s how we roll, you know the deal,
Biz Markie style, and we keepin’ it real.
Beouf de beouf, we raisin’ the glass,
Texas to the Loire, man, we livin’ with class!

Notes
Joly coulee de serrant: almonds, lemons with a fair amount of acidity. The touch of oak was perfect and not overpowering. Touch of sweetness that may be countered by the acidity? I dunno, I’m new to tasting so I’m trying here.
Chateau d’epire la Croix picot: gunpowder, lemons, salty/minerality was on point. I think our group liked this one the most so far.
Harmonie: green peppers and red fruits like raspberry and strawberry. aged in clay pots that really changed a cab franc in a way I can’t articulate well honestly.
Will be out here visiting many more!!
How exciting! Can’t wait to travel someday. The Chateau d’Epire sounds divine! Have a glass for me!
I have not seen that Coulee de Serrant wine in years. There was a Michelin starred place in Bordeaux that for some reason had bottles back to 1979. Not all were in good condition, but when you got a good one – a knockout. This is a wonderfully textured wine that would appeal to a Texan. And an Australian.
