The reason why I’m asking is because on my second cook of ribs I had a small fire where pellets were placed underneath my fire pot – I think it was misplaced? I clean it like a maniac after each cook.
The new one just doesn’t sit totally flush for me (photo 3 and 4 especially)… maybe I’m being paranoid here. Perhaps it’s good enough and I’m second guessing. But I don’t want to cause a fire or burn down my house.

Traeger sent me a replacement firepot, wiring harness, hot rod, and temp sensor afterwards. Excellent customer service.
