Is exposed fiberglass normal on the pellets hopper side normal?

    Exposed fiberglass? I didn’t know they made these out of them. Just looks like pellet ash to me. Maybe I’m not seeing it.

  3. It’s the gasket between the hopper and the grill body. If you’re concerned you can take the hopper off and reseat the gasket.

    I would imagine it’s insulation around where the augur feeds into the main chamber of the grill to reduce heat loss
