I just posted picture of grease falling underneath the barrel plate. It was suggested the drip tray was incorrect or backwards, which I think is the correct assumption. But here is how it looks now. This is right, right?

This is now correct. Suggest heavy duty tinfoil in the future. It makes cleaning much easier.
