Ngl they did good to go for the Freminet/Gaming designs we have currently, beta Fremina is very… meh, beta Gaming is cool but i love much more the current one Good things they recycled the nice parts of their beta designs tho !
If you have a good idea and can't use it on the one character: don't throw it away. It's a good idea. Use it on a different character. I actually appreciate this way of thinking. There are only that many original ideas to be had, especially when you churn characters this frequently.
They took the best parts of both, love seeing good designs being revisited, something that may not be right in the moment might be perfect later down the line
I think it comes down to designs the artists liked, but didn't end up using, working their way into other character's art. I think it's neat, actually.
