Should be fine since it’s just in the cast iron vent. You’re probably good to still cook but I’d replace it with a charcoal basket. Easier to clean and you will get better airflow.

No big deal. Don’t replace it. Just buy a kick-ash basket, and that has you remove that grate anyways.

I’ve had a green egg and a KJ. This has happened with 100% of my CI grates. It’s normal and can be replaced easily if you want.
