In Cookie Decorating

I want to use this recipe for sugar cookie frosting, but i need it to dry in 2 hours, not 24, can I put them in the fridge?

Cold won’t make it dry faster. You’ll need a dehydrator to do that. If you have a convection oven that you can set to 175 with the fan on that will work too.

Can you decorate the cookies in a way that uses less icing or less concentrated areas of icing? Flooding a cookie is going to make the dry time longer, while thinly piped decorative filigree would dry a lot quicker.
