    I doubled this recipe: [https://www.seriouseats.com/roasted-tomato-salsa](https://www.seriouseats.com/roasted-tomato-salsa), and added an extra jalapeno and serrano. I may have broiled a bit too long – about 40 min. But overall I am very pleased and excited to try again.

    I would say it was broiled a little too long, but hey, extra smokey and charred flavor is hardly a bad thing in my book unless it’s burnt to a crisp.

    Plus, it looks to be a heartier salsa vs liquid and all watered down.
