Shouldn’t the francesinha have chips under the sandwich?

still have traumas from the vegan franceshina i had in faro. i reviewed the extremely highly rated restaurant with something like ‘its better to make vegetarian dishes rather than copying meat dishes and having them taste worse’. they were mightily pissed and responded to me if i know so much better i should make my own food see if i can do better. i mean, i did not really need to verify that but they were right in the sense that i should prefer making my own food over what they served me.

Francesinha is the best sandwich in the world, I can’t go to Portugal without eating one.
