In Burgundy, from a “island” between Vergelesses di Savigny and Vergelesses di Pernard.
Perfumes of violets, little red fruits, moss, frutti di bosco, muschio, cherries and a little note of vanilla. Elegant sip, balanced alcohol, perfect mineralità and deep end.
After 10y this wine shows to have long time ahed.

I’ve never tried Chandon de Briailles. Would you say the style leans more towards immediate fruit than complexity?

Portrait mode made your glass look broken!

I am both disgusted and intrigued by that glass
