Happy Valentine’s Day
Almond Joconde imprime with cherry mousse, vanilla bean whipped cream, kirsch soaked cherries in syrup, and toasted almonds. Advice on plating up this kind of dessert. What could be changed, fixed, or added? I’m a year into doing this and I feel like I could use some guidance.

Cake looks okay but clean off the plate. Maybe one circle of sauce underneath and off set the cake?
Please don’t take this as negative. See if you can purchase some cake molds to make it look modern. Cake looks good and sounds delicious on its on. I just think if you’re looking for improvement it might look more presentable as a dome with bright red cherry gelee.
love the flavours however the plate looks brown and messy. I’d tidy the sliced almonds and add a contrasting colour to have the red or pinks pop more.
