It’s a tasty plate and sure it was enjoyed, but looks wise its just seperate piles of stuff with no cohesion

This isn’t plating unfortunately. It does all looks tasty though, nice job.

Any partner would be lucky to be served this tonight! It’s beautiful as a home meal and as an expression of love.

    Wrong sub tho.

good luck with this…it might get kind of rough, as the plating looks like a blind person did it.

Agree with other comments & plate color detracts.

  6. Looks so good! If you would like to have a try at plating you could put the potatoesin the middle with a ring mold – the tuna you could sit them on top of the potatoes for height (and don’t use the end cuts), the broccolini could be less and on the side of the plate. The sauce could be spooned on top of the tuna and add a touch of microgreens. 😀

Constructive critiques here for a home cook: I’d probably do different sides. Broccolini is too heavy and the brassicas drown out a beautiful piece of fish.
Potato could work but I’d suggest fennel, leeks, or maybe some blistered tomato or if you want starch some preserved lemon cous cous (I’m
Assuming you’re not going with Japanese flavors here)
Get a better sear on your fish – looks pale.
It’s hard to make a portion this big look refined so I’d avoid slicing the tuna and just serve it as a nice steak.
    Good luck!
