But recently found this sub and while I really enjoy cooking I don’t put that much thought into plating since I cook for myself so I am hoping to get some tips and critique if possible.

  1. Try to be more deliberate with your plating- this looks like you dropped the ingredients on top the plate from a height. Think about how a perfect mouthful would go – do you want all ingredients on the fork at the same time or do you want people to try each ingredient by themselves? Group/separate/delineate accordingly.

    Also, wipe off the grease spots with a teatowel before you take the picture.
