I mean it’s never easy to make octopus look fancy but this really seems more of a plate meal than a bowl meal. I’d much rather see the octopus on display rather than slowly emerging from the potato.

Sounds great, but looks unappetizing and too soft texturally. I’d plate it in a shallower bowl so it’s not submerged in liquid and add something crunchy or crispy to the dish – perhaps crispy potatoes.
