Hello r)cakedecorating! Just an amateur cake decorating Dad, who has just found his people. (The other Dads don't really discuss cakes. Very strange.) I constructed this fella for my son's birthday March 2020, right at the beginning of the pandemic. Poor guys wasn't getting a party, so thought I'd get fancy. Now I'm in the one-up game with myself (which I'll never win) for family birthday cakes. I'll always appreciate any constructive feedback if you have any. I'll post more later, both wins and a couple of fails.

I’m glad your kid got a really nice cake. I’m no super professional with fondant because I’m still learning. Just some giving you some advice, have some water with you to smooth out some of the wrinkles and also probably not stretch out the fondant too much.
