She asked for a pink cake, it was a little uneven on the bottom and I didn’t have icing left to pipe so I used pearls instead 🙂 super happy with this one although the Swiss meringue buttercream was a little softer than I wanted, so any advice on making it firmer and easier to pipe is greatly appreciated!

Very pretty cake
Little girl cakes are the best! Beautiful work, and I love the presentation board. It’s hard to troubleshoot without any details, but it’s probably a temp/timing issue if you definitely measured everything correctly. I know that’s still super broad but next time use an instant read thermometer and be patient, you can’t rush the process and that’s where I’ve always messed it up. If I’m way off base then sorry for assuming, just going on what I’ve done wrong.

Honestly I love the pearls instead of piping! It makes it look so elegant and different than 98% of what you tend to see here
