Prepping everything was a pain for a novice like me and my small kitchen without a comprehensive set of utensils (hey, the cheese grater actually works pretty well as a lemon zester 😂). The actual cook wasn’t too hard at all, and holy moly this turned out to be the greatest tuna casserole I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend, just follow the recipe and you will not be disappointed!
The lemon adds the perfect amount of flavor and whereas I normally need to add some pepper or hot sauce when I eat tuna casserole, this honestly didn’t need anything else other than the listed ingredients. I wound up saving the lemony-olive oil from the tuna cans and drizzling that over the casserole with the lemon juice once I pulled it out of the oven. Absolute perfection.
One strange thing is the recipe calls for 1/4 cup of white wine but doesn’t actually say where/ when to use it… Maybe it’s for drinking? Lol

This is the most expensive tuna casserole I’ve ever seen.

Yeah I think I’ll just stick with my tuna casserole that doesn’t cost upwards of 32 dollars. Glad you liked it though!

I was unfamiliar with the brand name and very confused initially

A bit of a waste of ingredients to bake that tuna into a casserole. Its like turning sushi grade fish into fishsticks.

For the price of the 3 tins of fishwife tuna for a casserole you could buy a fresh tuna steak to sear and add to a casserole lol.
