Had a really tough time getting a good chuck roast lately that wasn’t super tough or just off tasting in awhile. My husband just had surgery and I have 2 babies so has been tough to go to my closest butcher that’s a good 1/2 hour away. This was pretty good for grocery store

    What are y’all’s preferred methods for using Charles?

    I’ve been using it cubed in stews (also chili) in cast iron Dutch oven. 2 hours at 275F and the meat is amazingly tender with rended fat.

    After using it this way I haven’t been able to try anything else!

    Smoke it and/or make Chuck burnt ends. Looks good.
