Picked this up from Walmart and decided to give it a try for lunch today. 6 bucks is a bit spendy in my opinion for what you get.

It’s a small pate tin, and I get mostly salmon flavor out of it. If there’s lobster in there it’s so overwhelmed by the salmon which is listed as the second ingredient.

It spreads fine and has the consistency of any tinned pate but the flavor is pretty flat and one dimensional.

Just scored one of these at T.J. Maxx, figured it would be mostly salmon.

This was the first tin I had to throw away, its flavor was offputting. I even tried to cut it with some cream cheese, that was a waste too.

I have had good luck with Walmart tinned fish, so when I saw these, I grabbed 3 different varieties.

It turns out I am just not a fish pate person. As soon as I opened it, saw it, and smelled it, my brain just started screaming “it’s catfood!” over and over.

And lo and behold, it did in fact become cat food. And they didn’t even like it that much. They usually volunteer to help me with my tuna and sardines.

Literally just fed the salmon version to my cats. I’m convinced it’s cat food. It was pretty revolting in taste and texture, but the cats loved it.

It’s cat food with human packaging.

To be fair, there are no lobsters in Alaska

straight up cat food, flavor and texture wise.

Glad to see such a consistent opinion because I love pates and would for sure grab this if I saw it for $6 somewhere!

My wife bought me a couple cans of these for Christmas. Nothing was pleasant about it. It just had the consistency of catfood and an unpleasant smell. Not anything I would recommend.

Wow, props on you for actually eating it.

This shit is like catfood! I got some boneless skinless Angelos at Homegoods today.

That looks absolutely vile. And I used to eat those tubes of roe from IKEA.

Did we all get this for Christmas from someone who knows we like tinned fish and was really trying?

I have it in my stash and might just find a clever way to regift it.

I recall seeing a review from this product a while back that was much more critical than yours. I will not buy this if I ever see it, thanks for the heads up

I really regret not doing the research about this brand/tin here, before I decided to impulse buy one “as a treat.”

It’s been sitting in my pantry for months now and I am too intimidated to try it. I’ve heard nothing but bad things

Impressed by the number of people who can compare this to cat food. 😉
