In the market for a new grill and found one hell of a deal at Costco (CAD) today. Its the exact model we were thinking of getting, except it’s one more burner/more cooking space than we need for just the two of us living at home. We love to meal prep and host gatherings, but even then, we wouldn’t be coming close to using all the cooking surface or the side burner it comes with. But, it’s still way better bang-for-buck than any other grill. Still cheaper than the smaller, three burner model. Sale ends Sunday. Do we capitalize on the opportunity?

No such thing as too much grill ( unless you don’t have space).
NO, if you don’t need the extra burner just don’t turn it on. As long as it will still fit in the space you plan to keep it I would go for it in a heart beat.

As long as you have room for it that’s a great deal. It’s nice having the extra space if you want to have a big gathering or if you want to have more flexibility with different heat zones. I have had a Napoleon Prestige 665 for a couple of years now and I really think it’s the best grill I have ever owned.
Maybe, but that one wouldn’t be anywhere close.
I have that grill and I like it a lot!! I very seldom use the side burner, but it’s worked pretty darn well for me.
FUCK YOU!!!!
Also great deal. But it!
Which Costco is this! I’m also in Canada and been looking for this exact grill
Holy crap! Napoleon! Nice!!
Rogue. Great grill. Wish I’d had money for prestige at the time. Probably next one will be pgh tied to gas line. Forever grill
There isn’t such a thing as too much grill per se, but there is such a thing as too much flash for too little bang. In any case, this isn’t it.
Go for it. I bought a smaller 3 burner Napoleon Legend 5 years ago for barely $100 less than that. You’ll enjoy it and it’ll serve you well.
Fake grill, get charcoal.
Come back and update after you realize the smaller one would have been too small.
What location? I’m on my way
Never
Not when last I checked.
NO!
Not if you can afford it and want it. I started out to by a Weber genesis and found their Summit FS-38s on sale as a floor model for 25% so I went for it. 3-4 times a year when we have people over for a bbq I’ll fill it up but normally for my family of 4 I just use half the grill.
Only if you can’t fit it into your home. I once picked up a grill and I had to disassemble it and remove my gate to get it into my backyard.
But seriously it’s always better to have more space than less.
Too much grill? Nah.
Host gathering’s? Get the biggest you can afford! We bought a 6 burner Weber Genesis years ago never thinking we would need that big, wrong… It fills up fast. Burgers and chicken, ribs take up space quick when we are BBqing on the weekends
Too much money-yes too much grill-never
It’s a gas grill. You can use 1 or 4 burners. If you can afford it go for it. If it was a huge charcoal grill then it’s a whole different story.
I have a Prestige, easily the best thing I’ve ever grilled on. Buy it.
Nope not at all. Have the ss 525 and its awesome. Buy it 😁
Ive never heard of a outdoor stove being called too much grill before
That ain’t even close if there is.
No
I bought one of these for $300 assembled at Lowe’s last year, if it’s a need get it… if not be patient
Edit: in all silver
People around here have smokers with license plates. I think you’re good. You don’t have to use all the burners and now you can have a large indirect zone if you need it. Big indirect zones can be used like an oven or to keep stuff hot while you cook the rest. I think you’ll use the grill space more than you think if you host gatherings outside at all.
Give me your tots, Napoleon.
Yes, buy it! No not too much grill. Just run burners on one side if small cook.
Definitely not too much. There’s enough room there to put a cast iron griddle pan on a couple of the burners. Then it’ll be a three-in-one deal for ya.
Great grill at a dynamite price, do it
