I do this but with just jalapeños instead of pickles too. My wife calls it the weirdo pie.
My version of this type of pizza :
Sardine Kimchi Pizza :
Pizza crust of choice
Tinned fish of choice (I buy Trader Joe’s)
Cheese of choice
Kimchi (Love Costcos fresh Jongga brand)
Shiitake mushrooms and veggies to taste (optional)
Pizza Sauce :
Large tomato paste
Splash rice vinegar
2-3 tbsp Gochujang (depends on amount of heat wanted)
Prepare pizza sauce. If using homemade crust, cook. Premade crust I cook without topping 375 3-4 minutes. Add toppings and bake 5-6 minutes. Enjoy!
