I still eat almost all of them
Still like open-faced turkey breast on toast with turkey gravy. And sloppy joes.

You payin 20$ for a cheese steak sammich now….😮💨

A chicken salad sandwich lives only in the memories of…… dude I had one for lunch. Today.
The only thing forgotten about these is the cheap price
The Midwest must be hopelessly out of step with whatever source you gathered your data from, because we eat all of these sandwiches here. Well, maybe not the egg and cress. Never heard of that one.
There may be some shiny new contenders, but they don’t stand up well when packed into a paper sack or tin box for lunch. Classics are unbeatable.
The Title should b 70s sandwiches still enjoyed today🤷♂️
Most of these sandwiches are still available at Subway & other Sandwich Shops.
The Fluffer Nutter, Liverwurst & Patty Melt sandwiches aren't on any menu I've seen.
Open Face Turkey, Pork & Beef Sandwiches with mashed potatoes & gravy weren't even mentioned !! 🥲 (your Cuban Sandwich ingredients are WRONG !)
Go to Tampa Bay area for a true Cubano.
the Reuben sandwich is my favorite on the list and i still eat all of these today some change a little . Liverwurst as a kid i used to eat it on English Muffin sometimes with cheese and a egg .Tuna , Chicken, Egg and Ham salads i always eat on Toast it just makes it taste better to me even as a kid .
What? Some of these sandwiches still exist at Subway. The peanut butter & jelly sandwich is for when I have almost no time for lunch and I'm in a hurry. 😋🤣
I've eaten every one these at least once in the last year. The exception is the Fluff-n-Nutter. Never liked those, 😉
I have no clue how any of these could be considered as fading in to history… PB&J!? REALLY? You must have been VERY protected as a child if you think that went out with the 70s.
How dare you show the Carnegie deli in NYC when talking about the cheesesteak (or as your spelling, the cheesestaek) instead of any of the great places in Philadelphia
